had some extra time before i had to leave the house so i thought i'd share some interesting things i've been looking at:
Complex recently had a lengthy post on hip-hop songs that are 10+ minutes long. Insightful blurbs as well as streaming mp3s for 25 (!) songs, many from obscure or unheard of artists, but also including the like of Lil Wayne, Too $hort, Game (whose recent "400 Bars" inspired Complex's post), Digital Underground, The Roots, Beastie Boys, Kanye, and Joe Budden(s). sit back, and take in some bizarre/ill moments from hip-hop history, or just put some of these on while you're doing other things. it's a trip, you catch lines here and there and sort of follow it, but you're like "this song's still on?" check it out here:
